Framed Quilt Wall

A quilt wall is traditionally a piece of flannel tacked to a wall. I made mine more fancy with this spray painted frame.

What you need:

  • (1) can Krylon Dual Paint+Primer, color of your choice
  • (1) large frame
  • 1.5 yards flannel batting
  • (optional) staple gun

How and How Long:

  1. Take frame apart.
  2. Clean frame with water and toothbrush (to get into all the little nook and crannies!)
  3. Allow to dry, then spray with Krylon Dual Spray Paint.
  4. While paint dries, cover print from frame with batting and flannel.
  5. Use staple gun to put frame back together.
  6. Hang on wall and enjoy!
Approximate project time: 2 hours, including dry time.

What it Costs:

Cost is $30 for spary paint, batting, and flannel.
