What you need:

• (1) can Krylon Looking Glass spray paint
• Piece of glass
• DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamel Paint in White
• Paint Brush

How and How Long:

1. Clean your glass with rubbing alcohol. Using your DecoArt Americana Gloss Enamels & brush, paint your image on the back of the glass. I chose to paint, “il a vole mon coeur.“, which means “He stole my heart.” in French.
2. Be sure to REVERSE your text if your painting letters. Paint right to left and each letter should be backward. *If you don’t mind a relief (raised paint) on the front of the soon-to-be mirror, you can just paint everything on the front without the need to reverse & flip the letters.
3. After it has dried to touch, bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Before removing your glass, turn off the oven and allow it to cool in the oven.
4. Spray the back of the glass (the side that you painted) with Krylon Looking Glass Mirror-Like Paint. Make sure you are outside or in a well-ventilated area. You will need a few coats but be sure that the first one evaporates before applying another.
