Let your little ones see how big they are getting with this easy project.

What you need:

  • (1) can of Krylon Indoor/Outdoor Gloss spray paint (color of your choice)
  • (1) can of Polyurethane
  • One strip of Plywood
  • Vinyl numbers and letters

How and How Long:

  1. Cut and sand your strip of plywood.
  2. Measure according to how high off the floor it will be and decide how tall it needs to be. Mine was a little under 1.5 feet off the ground and the top measured 5 feet 4 inches. Mark from the top and go down.
  3. Cut out vinyl numbers or use pre-cut vinyl and put them on the board in the appropriate places.
  4. Use strips of vinyl scraps to mark the hash marks for all of the inch marks.
  5. Spray with Polyurethane to seal in paint and protect the whole project.
  6. Hang it up and measure your little one.
Approximate project time: 1 hour.

What it Costs:

Cost is $20 for spray paint and supplies.
