Funky Glitter Blast Tea Set


  I purchased a tea set at a thrift store and made it sparkle with Krylon Glitter Blast, Alcohol inks and images from The Octopode Factory.

What you need:

  • (1) can Krylon Glitter Blast, color of your choice
  • (1) can Krylon Glitter Blast Sealer
  • Thrift Store tea cup, saucer, and tea pot
  • Alcohol inks
  • Copic Markers images from The Octopode Factory
  • Floral Foam
  • Stem Wire

How and How Long:

  1. First, I colored the tea pot with alcohol inks.
  2. Then, I sprayed entire set with Krylon Glitter Blast (I used Diamond Dust).
  3. Adhere Copic Colored Octopode Factory images.
  4. Seal with Krylon Glitter Blast Sealer.
  5. Use Stem wire to mount images and insert into floral foam.

Approximate project time: 1 hour.

What it Costs:

Cost is $8 for 2 cans of spray paint.
