Going Swiss!


  I used Krylon spray paint to decorate baskets for the bathroom.

What you need:

  • (1) can of Krylon Banner Red Dual Paint & Primer spray paint
  • (1) can of Krylon Flat White Indoor/Outdoor spary paint
  • Newspaper
  • Green Scotch Painter's Tape

How and How Long:

  1. Tape off area to be sprayed and cover bottom and top with newspaper securely. On front of basket spray two coats of the Indoor/Outdoor Flat White in the middle where the cross will be.
  2. Let dry for about 5 minutes.
  3. Place your taped cross over the white paint and where you want it to go.
  4. Spray the Dual Banner Red in the taped off areas all the way around the basket to make the thick stripe.
  5. Let dry for about 20 minutes.
  6. Remove all the tape and newspaper carefully and the tape in the cross shape. Let it stand another 30 minutes before putting anything in the basket and voila! You have a Swiss Army Basket!

What it Costs:

Cost is $13 for two cans of spray paint and about $20 for additional supplies.
