Glittered Holiday Pinecones


  These pinecones shimmer with a frosting of glitter.

What you need:

  • Pinecones (as many as you would like!)
  • (1) can Krylon Primer in White
  • (1) Krylon Glitter Blast Golden Glow
  • (1) Krylon Glitter Blast Silver Flash
  • Pushpins
  • Fishing line
  • Masking tape
  • Drop cloth

How and How Long:

  1. Make certain that the surfaces to be painted are clean from dirt and dust.
  2. Apply genereous coat of primer to pinecones and let dry completely.
  3. Apply generous coat of glitter spray paint to pinecones, let dry completely.
  4. Create a ‘clothes line’ using fishing line and hang pinecones from string or fishing line so the surfaces are ‘all’ accessible.
Approximate project time: 45 minutes.
