Patio Makeover with Rust Protector


  An old, Craigslist patio set gets a makeover with new Krylon Rust Protector spray paint in Oil Rubbed Bronze.

What you need:

  • (9) cans of Krylon Rust Protector spray paint (color of your choice)
  • Patio set
  • Steel wool
  • Rag

How and How Long:

  1. Go over the entire set with steel wool, to remove any flaking paint or rust.
  2. Wipe the set down to remove any dirt, dust, etc.
  3. Spray the entire set with Krylon Rust Protector. I applied three coats and let dry in between. I used several cans of spray paint!
  4. Grill out and enjoy your new set!

Approximate project time: 2 hours, not including dry time.
