Last fall I had some clients ask me to paint some old 50's style patio chairs in some animal print look. I decided on zebra and leopard and titled the pair "Predator and Prey".

As a hobby, I enjoy refurbishing curb-find furniture and turning trash into show pieces. I take a lot of pride giving value into something destined for the landfill. I have the most fun is doing really wild, bold, and fun art pieces.

Sometimes a nice set of wooden furniture gets a rough treatment outdoors. Left alone in the elements it can start to look pretty shabby. But the story doesn't have there; It's easy to give wooden furniture a new life and it's not hard to do.

Coffee tables are nice, but they can sometimes be so plain. This table is a solid table and great for supporting several dozen cups of coffee, but the white space was dying for a decoration. So with a little bit of time and some paint it can get a bit of a nautical look with a compass rose.
