Wire Ribbon Ruffle Lamp


  I turned an old lamp into a fun lamp with Krylon Satin Catalina Mist paint and wire ribbon.

What you need:

  • (1) Old lamp
  • (1) Can of Krylon Satin Catalina Mist paint (#53529)
  • Wire ribbon
  • Glue/Hot glue gun
  • Scissors

How and How Long:

  1. First, I wiped off the lamp base.
  2. Then, I spray painted it with Krylon Satin Catalina Mist and let dry.
  3. Next, I cut ribbon to size and cut the wire off one side of the ribbon, and on the other side, pulled the ribbon and ruffled it. 
  4. I hot glued the wire ruffled ribbon down to the lamp shade.
Approximate project time: 1 hour.
