No More Rust! Railing


  Fix a rusty railing with Krylon spray paint. In less than an hour, you can greatly improve the curb appeal of your home!

What you need:

  • (2) cans of Krylon Rust Protector
  • Household cleaner
  • Sandpaper
  • Wire Brush

How and How Long:

  1. Scrape loose paint off with the wire brush.
  2. Sand railing to smooth out imperfections. Really concentrate where rust damage is.
  3. Wash railing and rinse off with garden house.
  4. Allow railing to dry completely.
  5. Tape off area under and around railing that you don't want paint on.
  6. Spray paint the railing, do a few coats a few minutes apart to avoid drips.
Approximate project time: 1 hour.
