Peace Lamp


  Bring an old lamp back to life with blast of glitter!

What you need:

  • Lamp base and shade
  • Cardstock shapes (i.e. peace signs and flowers)
  • (1) can Krylon Glitter Blast Starry Night
  • (1) can Krylon Glitter Blast Posh Pink
  • (1) can Krylon Glitter Blast Twilight Sky
  • (1) can Krylon® Indoor/Outdoor Black
  • (1) can Krylon® Easy Tack
  • Masking tape and paper
  • Craft glue or glue dots

How and How Long:

  1. Remove shade from lamp. Clean lamp base if needed. Mask off all electrical parts.
  2. Spray paint lamp base with Krylon Indoor/Outdoor paint in black.
  3. Spray lamp base with Krylon Glitter Blast in Starry Night. Repeat coats if necessary for complete coverage.
  4. Spray backside of cardstock shapes with Krylon® Easy Tack; adhere to masking paper. Spray shapes with Krylon Glitter Blast in desired colors.
  5. Remove glittered pieces from masking paper and apply to lampshade using glue dots or craft glue.
  6. Reassemble lamp.
