Ghoulie Wreath

Grab an old and worn out wreath and make a spooky Halloween decoration that the whole neighborhood will be frightened of.

What you need:

  • (1) can Krylon Indoor/Outdoor Purple spray paint
  • (1) can Krylon Glitter Blast Citrus Dream spray paint
  • Silk wreath
  • Plastic skulls
  • Newspaper
  • Pipe cleaners or wire to attach skulls to wreath

How and How Long:

  1. Spread newspaper on floor in open and ventilated area and place wreath on paper. Evenly spray Indoor/Outdoor Purple in all directions, starting with back side of wreath and allowing to dry for one hour before flipping and spraying the front of the wreath.
  2. Place plastic skulls on paper and evenly spray with Glitter Blast Citrus Dream. It may take several coats to cover every surface. You may need to use a pencil or stick to hold them in place while spraying.
  3. Allow time for wreath to dry completely.
  4. To attach the skulls to the wreath, drill a small hole into the back of each and insert a pipe cleaner. This pipe cleaner can then be used to wrap around the base of the wreath and hold the skull in place.
Approximate project time: 4-5 hours.

What it Costs:

Cost is $20 for spray paint and supplies.
