Tim Burton-Inspired Pumpkin


  Craft Pumpkin trio altered with Krylon spray paint, card stock and wire.

What you need:

Craft pumpkins, Krylon White primer, Krylon Make it Stone Metallic, 2 Krylon Glitter Blast, Krylon Glitter blast sealer, Krylon Glo, Krylon Acrylic sealer, Octopode factory images, Copic Markers, Core'dinations card stock, Tim Holtz alterations embossing folders, stampers anonymous stamps, Distress ink, black wire, wire cutters, round nose pliers, piercing tool, Mod Podge, and E600 Adhesive

How and How Long:

  1. Spray primer on top and sides of pumpkins let dry approx 15 minutes, then prime bottom of pumpkins.
  2. Repeat step 1 with desired colors of specialty paints.
  3. Seal with Glitter Blast sealer.
  4. Color Octopode Factory images with Copic Markers and seal with Krylon Acrylic Sealer.
  5. Adhere and seal images and other paper embellishments with Mod Podge.
  6. Adhere wire, beads, buttons, and other embellishments with E-600 adhesive or hot glue.
Approximate project time: 2 hours.
