Yuletide Table Accents


  Attach bottoms of clay pots and trays to create candle holders for a unique Christmas tablescape.

What you need:

  • Krylon Indoor/Outdoor Primer - White (#51315)
  • Krylon Short CutsΠAerosol Paints - Gold Leaf (#SCS029)
  • Krylon Short CutsΠAerosol Paints - Chrome (#SCS032)
  • Krylon Leafing Pens - 18 KT. Gold (#9901)
  • 5ft. pine garland
  • Pinecones
  • (3) white silk magnolias
  • (2) 6 in. clay pot trays
  • (2) decorative round clay pots
  • (2) 4 in. white pillar candles
  • All-purpose adhesive
  • Wire
  • Needlenose pliers

How and How Long:

  1. Attach 3 silk magnolias to pine greenery with wire (one in the middle and one at each end). Spritz the entire swag with Gold Leaf and let dry.
  2. Spray pine cones with Chrome and let dry. Secure to swag with wire.
  3. Turn decorative round clay pots upside down and glue a clay tray on top of each. Allow glue to dry, then spray with Primer. Let dry, then spray with Chrome. When dry, highlight details with 18 KT. Gold Leafing Pen. Place pillar candle in each tray.
  4. Arrange swag in center of table buffet or mantle and surround with candles and holders.
