King Bed Dimensions

76 inches by 79.5 inches
The same length as a Queen mattress but wider. A king mattress gives two adult sleepers plenty of room to spread out comfortably. This is the perfect option for couples co-sleeping with children or pets because of the generous width. Our customers tell us the extra space helps them sleep better. King size mattresses are rapidly overtaking Queen size mattresses in popularity.

Mattress Sizes FAQ's

Is a full mattress large enough for a couple?

Queens tend to be the perfect choice for couples. While full or double mattresses are large enough for two individuals, it might feel a little crowded if you tend to spread out or need personal space. It all depends on your personal preference and what kind of sleepers you both are.

How big is the largest mattress?

While a King and California King offer plenty of space for two and possibly even three people, these sizes might seem small compared to the Alaskan King. An Alaskan King mattress is 9 feet by 9 feet. To put that into perspective, a standard California King is about 6 feet by 7 feet.

What size mattress is best for tall people?

Taller people and individuals 6 feet tall and above prefer King and California King mattresses. The King is an excellent choice for tall couples as it allows the perfect combination of width and length. The Cal King offers a bit more length than the King but is a few inches narrower. Beyond the common sizes, extreme options such as the Alaskan King give you plenty of space, regardless of your height.
